Hi,I’m Angela Arnold. Welcome to my website,College Admissions411.com. I’m a college consultant, retired teacher, author, advisor, mentor, and tutor to college-bound high school students and their families.
I’ve guided many students on their path towards college, and I can help you, too.
Getting accepted to college has never been more competitive and stressful than it is today. In fact,we are falling behind. The challenges are such that some of today’s students may become the first demographic of Americans since World War II who are less educated than their parents.
Today’s economy is tough on just about everyone, but the people who are struggling the most are those who have not graduated from college.
Those applicants who are able to effectively promote themselves – without bragging – to the college admissions officers will generally be successful.
That’s where a college admissions consultant, like myself, comes in. We make sure that you and your family are thoroughly informed about the college admissions process so that you can make the right decisions every step of the way.
I’ve included lots of information on this blog, and I will be updating it regularly … But of course, there’s so much more to know.
Right now, just sit back and relax as you go through my blog.
I’d love to answer any of your questions, and I welcome your comments. You can reply to my blog postings and be assured that I will read and respond to your most pressing issues.
If you’d like to schedule a free 15-minute consultation simply click the “Book Now”button on the right sidebar underneath the royal blue “Free College Admissions Advice”bar. Students and minor children under 18 years old must have your parents book this consultation for you.
So,again, welcome to my blog. I congratulate you on taking this step towards getting accepted to your dream college, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi Angela,
What a excellent service you provide here.
As they say,the young are the future so I think it’s wonderful that you support them in this way!
My little sister is about to start University and I know she is so grateful for the guidence she recieves.
All the best,
Emma
Yes,Emma,I still appreciate the information and advise I received from my college adviser. I was the first person in my family to attend college, and even though my parents supported me in reaching my goals, they just couldn’t provide the counseling that I needed. Unfortunately, today’s guidance counselors are severely overworked, and they are –for the most part –unable to provide the individualized attention that the students today need.
Angela
You are provide a very important resource. As a parent of a child entering college in the fall it was very challenging navigating the college application process. The
internet search engines used to be a great place to get good information. Now a lot of it is filled with useless information. Thanks for being a beacon of light for
frustrated parents.
Debbie
Debbie,
I have 5 children, all of whom I helped navigate the sometime treacherous waters of higher education. You really need to know what you are doing if you want to make the most of your time and get accepted to the right college for you and have the money to pay for it. Congratulations on your child’s accomplishments. This is truly a right of passage.
Angela
Hello Angela,
Debbie is right, you provide a really important service at a time where so many parents and their kids need it the most. I have already sent 5 of my kids to college already and I experienced first hand the chaos that can take place during these times.
Keep the Smiles,
Stevie
Thanks,Steve,
I really appreciate your comments. Those of us who already have children who have graduated from college know how confusing thing can be. I’m glad you hear that your children made it through. So many children don’t. We have to count our blessings and help others cross the finish line also.

Hey Angela,
I’m having some trouble on your blog today. Your full width settings do not work on a 21+”monitor (I run a 24″). This is due to exceeding the eye tracking limit for any ease of reading. Please set your primary content column to utilize a reasonable maximum width for those of us that have nice monitors or your blog becomes challenging to read for us. I also see that your commentluv plugin has gone missing and your twitter button has a really common and easy to overlook issue that you can read more about here:http://just-ask-kim.com/simple-twitter-share-button-mistake-costing-traffic/ Be in touch through the TSA community if you need feedback on getting these things working so you can get the best results for your blog.
Kimberly
Thank you so much,Kim. I’ll get on it. I will probably contact you soon.
